Molladalen med sine kvasse tinder måtte avlegges et besøk når vi var på Sunnmøreturnè. Dagen startet desverre dårlig med lavt skydekke ved starten på ruta i Bardstaddalen. Skydekket sprakk heldigvis litt opp når vi kom over 1000 meter, og ryggen opp til toppen ble forsert med god utsikt mot blant annet Randers og Mohns topp. Tåka kom tilbake for fullt på tilbaketuren, og Jønshornsrenna ble gått i tett tåke.

Fra basen i grustaket ved Vollane bar det rett opp lia på god sti i retning Rametinden. Tåka hang tungt, men når vi etter hvert hadde forsert noen høydemetere ante vi en mulighet til lettere vær. Over 1000 meter var været ganske så trivelig, og sola tittet frem en og annen gang . Dagens første topp var Rametinden (1198 moh). Herfra bar det raskt videre mot dagens hovedmål; Jønshornet . Nordryggen var grei å gå

På toppen ble lunsjen inntatt, og vi møtte også to trivelige Skotter som kom opp til toppen via Jønshornsrenna . Det var der vi skulle returnere. Tåka kom plutselig, og når vi var på eggen øverst i renna ble sikten redusert til et minimum. Vi plundret derfor en liten stund før vi kom oss videre og kom inn på den tydelige stien ned mot Molladalen. Returen ble lang i det grå været, og håpet vårt om å oppleve de kvasse Molladalstindane på nært hold uteble for denne gang. Det får heller være. Været er lite å gjøre med, og i dette området er nettopp været veldig ustabilt og skiftende. Vi returnerer derfor heller med glede. Sunnmørsalpene er virkelig et eldorado for toppfrelste. Kanskje kommer vi tilbake allerde førstkommende påske??
